Of course, the X-DRIVE with its versatile connection options is well equipped for tough applications on stage as well as in the recording studio.
16 Distortion Models from CleanBoost to High Gain
The 16 effect algorithms of the AmpliTube X-DRIVE include the most sought-after distortion sounds of blues, rock and metal and are characterized by their amazingly accurate reproduction of their famous models. All models offer a wide range of adjustable parameters, for example to influence the EQ or the gain behavior of the effect. An adjustable NoiseGate and additional compression can also be activated if required.
MIDI, Expression & Cab Sim
In order to be optimally positioned in interaction with other effect devices and additional equipment, the IK Multimedia AmpliTube X-DRIVE offers a variety of connection options on the front of the pedal. For looping into classic pedalboard setups between guitar and amplifier, an input and Output are available in mono, while the additional Cab Sim Out with five selectable cabinet simulations is ready for connection with active full range cabinets and PA systems. Controlling single or multiple effect parameters via expression pedal is also easily possible with the X-DRIVE.
X-GEAR Librarian & AmpliTube 5 SE
For easy management of the created presets, IK Multimedia provides a comprehensive tool with the X-GEAR Librarian software, which makes sorting and naming your own sound creations child's play. On the other hand, those who prefer the workflow of the comprehensive Guitar Gear modeling software AmpliTube 5 for PC and Mac can simply load their X-DRIVE as a virtual model into the effects chain and benefit from the combination of award-winning amp modeling and first-class distortion sounds. A full license for AmpliTube 5 SE is included.
