The 32Classic MS is a high-quality analog channel strip that brings the legendary Harrison sound directly into your studio. Based on the famous 32Classic console, this device combines first-class analog processing with modern hybrid workflow functions. Thanks to the integrated stereo mix bus, multiple units can be merged and summed, allowing the 32Classic MS versatile to be integrated into any studio environment.

With the same high-quality design as the 32Classic console, the 32Classic MS features the Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer mic preamp, musical low-pass/high-pass filters with a 3 dB resonance peak and a super-soft 4-band parametric equalizer. The original 3232 console was used for legendary recordings by artists such as Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin.

Now, for the first time, this timeless sound is available in a 19-inch rack format.

Versatile input stage for maximum flexibility

The 32Classic MS offers a comprehensive input section with dedicated mic and line XLR inputs on the rear panel. In addition, there is a practical front panel input that can be switched between instrument/Hi-Z and microphone. The microphone input is equipped with 48V phantom power, -20 dB pad, phase inversion and a multi-colored LED level indicator. Separate gain controls for mic and line inputs allow precise adjustments for optimum signal quality.

A hallmark of classic Harrison recordings is the high-quality, transformer-coupled microphone preamplifier. The 32Classic MS Mic-Pre delivers up to 70 dB of low-noise gain, combined with the characteristically full low-end, open mids and silky highs for which Harrison is renowned. The integrated Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer provides a smooth frequency response with subtle phase shifts that naturally round off the signal.

Musical high-pass & low-pass filters

The Harrison low-pass and high-pass filters of the 32Classic MS are based on the famous 3232 console and the modern 32Classic console. They offer a musical 12 dB/octave slope, ideal for targeted sound shaping.

High-pass filter (25 Hz - 3.1 kHz) with 3 dB resonance peak for more character

Low-pass filter (160 Hz - 20 kHz) for smooth treble adjustments

In combination with the EQ section, this filter architecture ensures a tight low end and a silky high end without ever sounding harsh or brittle.

Legendary 4-band Harrison equalizer

The 32Classic MS brings the famous 4-band parametric equalizer of the 32Classic console into a 19-inch rack format for the first time. This EQcircuit was developed back in the 1970s, when it was important to perfectly adjust the sound directly during recording.
