Mahogany body and robust chrome hardware
The body and neck of the Hagstrom Megin are made of robust mahogany, while the15" radiusResinator fingerboard allows for comfortable playability for all styles. The Pearloid Hagstrom block inlays decorate the 22-fret resinator fingerboard and skilfully round off the design of the electric guitar in a black gloss finish. The robust Hagstrom Wrap Around Bridge with "Wide Reach Intonation" bridge saddles provides a robust string action, while clean intonation is guaranteed. The Hagstrom - 15:1 ratio chrome tuning machines also ensure precise tuning.
The neck pickup delivers a medium output of 8.2K, while the bridge pickup causes a sensation as a high output humbucker with 13.8K!
Custom 62 Humbucker
With two in-house Custom 62 humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, the Hagstrom Megin delivers a rich sound that provides enough power for genres from blues to rock. In addition, harder high-gain areas can be tackled just as wonderfully, while a well-balanced frequency response allows precise articulation in the highs, but mids and basses don't fall by the wayside!
