With the Headway EDB-2 H.E. Preamp, the natural sound of acoustic instruments with pickup system can be precisely preset and cleanly passed on to an amplifier.

Connections

Extensive setting options and connections allow for versatile application in the recording studio or on stage. Two separately adjustable channels with stereo function consisting of two 6.3 mm jack sockets ( CH1 / CH2 ) and one XLR socket ( CH2 ) allow the application of two separate pick-up systems, or one plus a microphone. In addition, the sockets are equipped with phantom power so that, for example, condenser microphones can also be connected without their own power supply.

Equaliser and filter

A comprehensive equaliser for each channel offers the possibility of individual adjustment of bass, LMid, HMid, presence and treble. To avoid feedback, a notch filter can also be activated and adjusted. The Headway EDB-2 H.E. preamp is completed by an effects loop and an aux-in function, for example to feed play-a-longs from an external device. An 18V power supply unit is included in the delivery.
