This tone-wood selection (Solid Sitka Spruce Top and Maple Back/Sides) in a Jumbo Body size has been a Guild tradition since 1954. The in-house Guild AP-1 Pick-Up has a Volume and Tone Control on the upper part of the Sound-Hole. With this purist technical equipment, the acoustic resonance is largely preserved.
