Gretsch LTD Electromatic Pristine CB Dark Cherry Metallic

As a modern edition with valued Gretsch elements, the limited edition ELECTROMATIC PRISTINE is a cult classic for Blues and rock lovers. A semi-acoustic guitar with a semi-hollow body that combines modern handling with a vintage aesthetic and promises a full sound with strong performance without feedback thanks to the solid center block. The Gretsch ELECTROMATIC PRISTINE is equipped with P-90E single-coil pickups, a Bigsby B70 vibrato and a Laurel fretboard with 22 medium Jumbo frets and neo-classic thumbnail inlays.

Tonewoods and neck profile

Gretsch uses high-quality tonewoods and traditional semi-hollow construction to give the ELECTROMATIC PRISTINE its woody resonance. The top, back and sides are made of multi-layer maple laminate for optimum tone and stabilized by a solid mahogany center block. Fast playing characteristics are provided by the glued Nato neck in "Thin-U" profile with Laurel fretboard in 12" radius. The body is rounded off with elegant white/black Binding and a gold plexi pickguard.

Pickups, electrics and hardware

Two P-90E single-coils sit in the neck and bridge position, giving the ELECTROMATIC PRISTINE a typical Gretsch sound. In addition to a dynamic sound, the P-90E single-coil delivers a powerful Output with clear highs. With Pristine, Gretsch relies on a traditional switching method with neck and bridge pickup volume controls, Master-Tone and Master-Volume controls and a 3-way pickup switch. Of course, the Bigsby B70 Vibrato should not be missing for harmonic sound enhancement and modulation with a vintage feel.
