With the GRETSCH G6609TG Players Edition Broadkaster Centerblock Double-Cut Bigsby Cadillac Green, the traditional American company presents a classically and compactly built semi-acoustic electric guitar that is made for authentic blues and rock sounds. This electric guitar features a maple laminate body with a solid center block, a comfortably playable maple neck and two Gretsch Full'Tron humbuckers, which deliver powerful sounds through the amplifier. The Gretsch G6659T Players Edition Broadkaster Jr Center Block SC Bigsby Roundup Orange is completed by Gotoh locking tuners, a Bigsby String-Thru vibrato and a Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge.

Gretsch G6609TG: Classic semi-hollow electric guitar
In designing the Gretsch G6609TG Broadkaster, Gretsch relies on the classic ingredients for a semi-acoustic electric guitar. Accordingly, the body is made of maple laminate and painted in a smart dark green. Here, the back and top are connected by a solid centre block, so that no feedback occurs even at high volumes. In addition, the glued maple neck offers a rounded "standard U" profile that fits comfortably in the hand and allows any lick between the 22 frets of the ebony fretboard to escape your fingers easily while playing this beautiful instrument.
Two Gretsch Full'Tron Humbuckers, in combination with the typical Gretsch circuitry, deliver versatile sounds with a vintage character.

Two Gretsch Full'Tron humbuckers are installed on the Gretsch G6609 Players Edition Broadkaster. With their lively dynamics and extremely wide frequency spectrum, these pickups capture the woody resonance of the semi-acoustic construction in an excellent way and pass it on to the amplifier, so that nothing stands in the way of expressive guitar playing across blues and rock'n'roll. Additional tonal variability is provided by the typical Gretsch circuitry consisting of a 3-way toggle, individual volume controls for each pickup and master volume and master tone controls.
On the headstock of the Gretsch G6609TG, Gotoh Locking tuners ensure precise tuning.
Hardware features with modern functionality
High-quality hardware features, combining classic looks with contemporary functionality, complete the Gretsch G6609TFM Broadkaster from the Players Edition. Accordingly, the body features a Bigsby String-Thru Vibrato and Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge. The Bigsby offers the proven functionality and embellishes chords or melodies with gently shimmering modulations, while at the same time allowing easy string changes by guiding the strings through the vibrato axis. From the bridge, the strings run with 24.6" scale length (625 mm) towards the headstock, where they are guided via a Graphtech saddle to the Gotoh Locking tuners. These not only guarantee an absolutely precise tuning of the electric guitar, but also make string changes extremely comfortable.
