With the Gretsch G6129T Players Edition Jet FT Bigsby Light Blue Pearl, Gretsch is launching a Singlecut electric guitar that convinces with its chic retro design and first-class rock'n'roll sounds. Gretsch uses a mahogany body with generous resonance chambers and a glued mahogany neck with a comfortable "Standard U" profile. Two Gretsch High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups together with the typical Gretsch circuitry provide versatile Rock'n'Roll sounds. In addition, the Gretsch G6129T Players Edition Jet FT is equipped with the proven Bigsby tremolo system and Gotoh locking tuners.
The Gretsch G6129T Players Edition Jet FT is designed with traditional ingredients in mind and features a mahogany body with large resonance chambers enclosed by a laminated maple top. Accordingly, the sound is determined by an airy attack and a pronounced midrange spectrum. In addition, the comfortable "Standard U" profile of the glued mahogany neck ensures optimum playability.
As pickup for the Gretsch G6129T Players Edition Jet FT Bigsby Light Blue Pearl, Gretsch chooses two High Sensitive Filter'Tron Humbuckers from their own production. Accordingly, the guitar amplifier provides a particularly brilliant sound with a crisp attack, which skilfully captures the acoustic character of the guitar and is ideally suited for classic Rock'n'Roll and wild Rockabilly. The typical Gretsch circuitry, which offers separate volume controls for each pickup, a master volume and a master tone, and a wide range of different timbres can be called up.
Last but not least, the Gretsch G6129T Players Edition Jet FT Bigsby Light Blue Pearl offers high-quality hardware equipment that can withstand even tough applications on stage or in the recording studio with unlimited reliability. The body is therefore equipped with a combination of Gretsch Anchored Adjusto-Matic Bridge and Bigsby tremolo, whose shimmering vibrato sounds bring every riff or lick to life. On the headstock, Gotoh Locking Tuners ensure precise and stable tuning even with frequent use of the vibrato lever. Schaller Security Locks also guarantee a secure hold of the electric guitar on the strap.
Gretsch G6129T LTD Players Edition Jet FT Bigsby Light Blue PearlAs a long time user of a Gretsch Jet, one made in China, i was in love with it, but it had its drawbacks. This Japanese made one is everything i loved about my old one, without any of the problems.
The guitar sounds great both plugged in and acoustically, it is extremely light (as opposed to my old one), the craftmanship is perfect, it comes with top quality hardware (almost every upgrade I wanted to make on my old one is stock on this one, like locking tuners, straplocks, electronics etc). Also, the service from Music Store was very good. Overall, I am very happy with it
