The Gretsch G6118T Players Edition Anniversary Bigsby 2-Tone Iridium Silver/Azure Metallic combines the classic design of the anniversary model launched in 1958 with contemporary details and a striking finish. Accordingly, the silver-blue lacquer conceals a traditional hollow-body electric guitar with a laminated maple body and the Gretsch ML-Bracing, while the glued maple neck with "Standard U" profile and rosewood fingerboard lies comfortably in the hand. Two Gretsch High Sensitive Filter'Tron Pickups deliver the typical Gretsch sound for classic country pickings and fast rock'n'roll. Last but not least, the Gretsch G6118T Players Edition features a Bigsby String-Thru Vibrato and Gotoh Locking Tuner.

The construction of the Gretsch G6118T Players Edition Anniversary turns out to be a classic hollow-body electric guitar in single-cut design. The body is made of laminated maple, whereby the two columns of the Gretsch ML-Bracing connect top and back. Accordingly, the Gretsch G6118T Anniversary delivers a resonant sound with a strong acoustic timbre. The glued maple neck in the comfortable "Standard U" profile also provides the usual playing comfort.
Two Gretsch High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups deliver the perfect sound for country, rock'n'roll and rockabilly. With the Bigsby B6CP String-Thru Vibrato the strings are guided through the axis.

The electric tone conversion of the Gretsch G6118T Players Edition Bigsby 2-tone Iridium Silver/Azure Metallic is performed by two Gretsch High Sensitive Filter'Tron Pickups in neck and bridge position. Accordingly, the typical Gretsch sound is available on the amplifier, which combines brilliant highs with the sonorous response of the hollow-body construction and thus provides the perfect ground position for fast country pickings, classic rock'n'roll or wild rockabilly. The classic circuit with separate volume potentiometers for each pickup and master volume and master tone controls can be used to retrieve a wide range of timbres.

Gretsch G6118T Players Edition Anniversary with Locking Tuners and Bigsby
High-quality hardware that combines classic looks with modern functionality completes the Gretsch G6118T Players Edition Anniversary. The Bigsby B6CP String-Thru Vibrato offers the familiar control to create softly shimmering pitch modulations, but thanks to the strings guided by the tremolo axis, allows them to be changed easily. From here the strings are led over a Gretsch Rocking Bar bridge, which is fixed on a rosewood base secured against slipping, before they meet the precise Gotoh locking mechanisms at the headstock.
