The Gretsch G5655TG Electromatic Centerblock Jr Bisgby Jade Grey Metallic is a classic semi-hollow rocker with a powerful sound. Featuring a centreblock, body with cutaway and a Bigsby vibrato, this Electromatic showcases Gretsch feel and style, while two Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers in neck and bridge positions produce a wide voice with added punch even at high volumes. Semihollow body & Thin-'U' maple neck
As a genuine Gretsch Electromatic, the G5655TG features a maple laminate body whose centre block construction allows for trouble-free Rock'n'Roll even at higher volumes without generating unwanted feedback. The maple neck, on the other hand, is connected via a resonant glue joint. Its thin 'U' profile is somewhat slimmer and emphasises classic techniques from fingerpicking to chord playing.
Blacktop Broad'Tron Pickups
The two Blacktop Broad'Tron humbuckers used in the neck and bridge position are a true classic among Gretsch instruments and produce powerful double-coil sounds with a clear mid note. The output of both pickups is matched to provide balanced sounds even in the intermediate position. Both pickups are controlled via separate volume controls, a master volume and a master tone control.
