Versatile semi-acoustic guitar
With the Gretsch G2622 Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut V-Stoptail Fireburst, the American traditional company sends a semi-acoustic electric guitar created for contemporary blues and rock sounds into the race. The large semi-hollow body and Gretsch Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers promise a strong character sound that skillfully captures the warm timbre of the semi-acoustic construction. While the set "Thin and Nato neck is convincing with first-class playing characteristics, the high-quality hardware equipment guarantees unshakable reliability of the G2622 Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut guitar.
The Gretsch G2622 Streamliner is visually distinguished by its Fireburst high-gloss finish and Gretsch hardware details.
Semi-Hollow construction with solid center block provides warm resonance and pleasant tonal qualities.
Traditional Semi-Hollow Construction
To give the G2622 Streamliner a warm sound with a pleasant woody resonance, Gretsch relies on traditional semi-hollow construction. The standard-size body is accordingly made with a top, back and sides of multi-layer maple laminate and stabilized by a spruce centre block so that even at high volumes no feedback disturbs the sound enjoyment. The glued Nato neck in "Thin U" profile also promises pleasant playing characteristics in all positions of the Indian Laurel fingerboard.
The Push/Pull Master Volume control can be used to elicit shimmering single-coil sound from the Gretsch Streamliner through the coil-split function.
Flexible sound with Broad'Tron pickups
At the guitar amp, the G2622 Streamliner Center block double-cut guitar convinces with a wide-ranging sound between Blues and rock. The two surprisingly powerful Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers skillfully capture the timbre of the semi-acoustic construction and convince not only with full-bodied clean sounds but also with creamy overdrive tones for punchy riffs and singing solos. The pickups are controlled via a classic Gret circuit with a 3-way pickup switch, individual volume controls for each pickup, Master-Volume and treble control.
Reliable hardware equipment
Last but not least, the G2622 Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut V-Stoptail Fireburst Semi-Hollow guitar comes up with reliable and stylish hardware features. From the namesake V-shaped tailpiece, the strings are fed through a Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge, which allows for precise intonation and string position adjustment. Behind the bone nut, Gretsch Die-Cast tuners also ensure precise tuning of the electric guitar.
