The electric guitar has a body made of light ash wood and a glued neck made of especially stable roasted maple. While the strong "Fat C" neck profile promises comfortable playing characteristics, the lovingly executed Relic finish conveys the realistic feel of an original from the golden era of the electric guitar.
TV Jones TV Classic and T-Armond pickups promise characterful tones with an unmistakable vintage touch.
Flexible pickup setup
Featuring the special SH pickup setup of a TV Jones T-Armond at the bridge and a TV Classic at the neck, the G2128-CS '55 Duo Jet Relic delivers a custom spectrum of premium vintage tones. The T-Armond single-coil, equipped with height-adjustable pole-pieces sorgt for an extremely brilliant tone that answers strong attacks with an inimitable growl. The slim TV Classic humbucker, on the other hand, convinces with a dynamic sound that combines the transparency of a single-coil with the right amount of warmth. The typical Gret circuitry with separate volume controls for each pickup, master volume and treble bleed provides full control over the timbre. The Treble Bleed Circuit prevents the tone from losing definition and clarity when the Volume knobs are turned down.
On the headstock with the signature of Stephen Stern, open Gotoh tuners provide high tuning stability.
