I wanted to have the look of a real F. Telecaster. I bought this because the original has no screws and a jack attached to it, will finish by giving connection troubles. With this one, you keep the Tele shape and with the screws trough the body, it will never move. I love the quality and finishing of the piece. It is BTW inexpensive what does not apply to the original one, which is over priced. Are you modifying or building a TELE? This is the way to go. Guarantee!
