Electric hybrid guitar, solid cedar top, maple body with resonance chambers, mahogany neck, mini-humbucker, piezo-pickup, including bag.
With the Godin A6 Ultra NT SG Lefthand, the Canadian manufacturer presents a hybrid guitar that produces both an authentic acoustic guitar sound and an expressive electric guitar sound via an integrated piezo element and a mini-humbucker. Solid construction consisting of a solid cedar top and hollow-bodied maple body creates an almost attack and make the A6 Ultra a lightweight despite its solidbody construction. A flat mahogany neck with a Richlite fingerboard offers the feel of an electric guitar while providing the generous space of an acoustic guitar thanks to a 42.8mm nut width, making intricate solos and even extensive fingering patterns a breeze. However, the A6 Ultra owes its versatility to its extensive pickup system, which features a custom Godin under-saddle transducer plus a custom Godin mini-humbucker. This way the instrument produces a rich acoustic guitar sound and furthermore offers the warm sound of an electric guitar. The dual system is controlled by a preamp equipped with a 3-band equalizer. Two Outputs allow either independent or parallel use of the two pickup types. A robust bag is included in the scope of delivery.
Versatile thanks to dual pickup system.
