The Gibson SJ-200 Standard 2016 6-String Electro Acoustic Guitar Antique Natural is a 6-string super jumbo electro acoustic guitar, featuring a solid spruce top, with a solid maple back and sides, a rosewood fingerboard, LR Baggs electronics, and includes a Gibson USA hard case, and antique natural finish. The Gibson J-200 features a fingerboard composed of high-grade rosewood, which is rigorously inspected and judged by skilled experts employed by Gibson to determine whether it is suitable for Gibson-standard guitars. This wood boasts a resilience and durability that gives a fingerboard a balanced and stable feel making each chord and note memorable. Additionally, the J-200 Standard features graduated crown inlays that are crafted from genuine mother-of-pearl before being inserted. This fingerboard also features a rolled edge, as opposed to the traditional right angle, which provides the player with a smooth comfortable grip, which enhances the optimal sound performance from this guitar.
This guitar is from Gibson's Super Jumbo range, which were originally designed to cut through whole ensembles, in order to compete acoustically with other acoustic instruments. This guitar further features L.R. Baggs pickups allowing expert plug-in, and a great amplified or recorded sound. The super jumbo sized body is connected to a rosewood fingerboard with crown inlays that leads to a maple neck and spruce high-glossed top.
