The Gibson SG Standard HP 2017 Electric Guitar EB Ebony is a 6-string model featuring a mahogany back and neck, a rosewood fretboard and an ebony finish. This range of SG Standard High Performance guitars feature upgraded 57 Classic pickups, robotic tuners and attractive new finishes.

This guitar contains an aluminium Tune-o-Matic bridge with titanium saddles and steel locking thumbwheels that offers the player ultimate clarity and sustain. Equipped with PAF-like '57 Classic and Classic+ pickups, the SG Standard HP produces the iconic tone one would expect from this legendary instrument.

Aesthetically, this guitar has been upgraded with a gorgeous white binding around a rosewood fingerboard that is adorned with pearl trapezoid inlays and 22 polished inlays. A classic teardrop pickguard and chrome-plated hardware complete this high quality instrument.

A Gibson High Performance super premium stamped aluminium case is included with each guitar as well as a Gibson premium leather strap, a Gibson multi-tool and a polishing cloth to help you keep your instrument in good condition.
