The Gibson SG Custom Ebony combines the traditional doublecut design with chic custom appointments to create an elegant electric guitar that combines the classic sounds of blues and rock. The Gibson Custom Shop relies on the proven full mahogany construction with glued neck. The slim "Medium C" neck profile and the late transition into the body also allow comfortable and unhindered playability across all layers of the Richlite fingerboard. Two classic Alnico humbuckers, the Gibson 490R on the neck and the Gibson 498T on the bridge, provide modernized PAF sounds on the guitar amplifier. Their powerful output and present midrange spectrum are the perfect basis for the riffs and licks of blues and rock. Last but not least, the Gibson SG Custom features a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece and precise Grover Rotomatic tuners.
