Gibson Custom Bucker with Paper-in-Oil Caps
For appropriate sounds of the legendary PAF humbucker, Gibson relies on successful replicas of the coveted dual coils with two CustomBucker humbuckers. Hand-wound in the Gibson Custom store, the pickups feature Alnico III magnets for a warm and vocal tone character and have non-waxed coils, clearly preserving the treble content in the signal. The electronics wiring is also completely hand-wired and holds original components of the golden LP era with CTS potentiometers for Volume and Tone and oil paper capacitors .

The neck with long neck tenon is glued with bone glue into the one-piece mahogany body of the Gibson Standard Historic 1959 Les Paul Standard.

The basis of the Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Sunrise Teaburst Ultra Light Aged is its basic construction made of selected tonewoods, as they were already used in the late fifties. Accordingly, the body is made of a solid piece ofmahogany and finished with a two-piececurly maple top with a fancy flame. Of course, in the recipe of a good Fifties Les Paul may not be missing the long neck tenon of the mahogany neck glued up to under the neck pickup.

Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged Treatment
Created by aging legend Tom Murphy, the Murphy Lab is a series of experts who analyze in detail the lacquer texture and aging process of Hardware original instruments and authentically recreate it in the 1959 Les Paul Standard Sunrise Teaburst Ultra Light Aged. The Ultra Light Aged Treatment repärsent the lightest aging process of the Murphy Lab and simulates the few signs of wear of an amazingly well-maintained instrument, which shows only a few age-related traces in the form of nitro lacquer cracks and a slight hardware aging. The composition of the nitro varnish was also taken into account here, allowing the instrument to continue to develop a tasteful aging over time.
