Thus, the classic mahogany body has comfortable contours, while the mahogany neck with "Slim C" profile and contoured neck heel is unobstructed playable across all registers. At the amp furthermore Gibson 496R and 498T humbuckers provide modern sounds.

The Gibson Modern Les Paul Axcess Custom impresses with a first-class playing comfort that adds a dimension to the classic Singlecut design. For example, the mahogany body not only features a slimmer rib width, but also hugs the player thanks to the "Comfort-Carve Belly Scarf" on the back. The Weight Relief also makes this Les Paul surprisingly light, so nothing stands in the way of long gigs. Furthermore, the fast "Slim C" profile and the smoothly designed "Contoured Axcess Heel" at the neck foot ensure unhindered playability across all positions of the Richlite fingerboard. A special feature is furthermore the reinforced "Apex" headstock with particularly stable transition between neck and headstock.
