The Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2016 T IT Iced Tea is a six-string electric guitar that features a mahogany body with a flamed maple top, a rosewood fingerboard, '57 classic pickups, chrome hardware, and an iced tea finish. This guitar features the original tonewood combination that has helped catapult the Les Paul as arguably the most popular guitar on the market. With the addition of a beautifully carved solid AAA grade maple top, further bite and articulation is offered to the tone while the mahogany body with traditional weight relief adds warmth and depth. The end result is a hugely rich and complete sounding body with plenty of definition.
This superior tone is delivered via a pair of Gibson 57 Classic Humbuckers that are powered by Alnico magnets designed to match the exact image of the original PAF pickups. These offer a variety of characteristics and bring your amplified sound to life. The neck sports Gibson’s traditional nut width and uses a self-lubricating Graphtech nut that helps strings return to pitch from heavy string bending while adding sustain. The machine heads are traditional manual tuners to add a vintage note but with performance that is smooth and efficient. The Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2016 comes fully set up and ready for action right out of its traditional brown hardshell case.
