Based on the classic Singlecut design, the Gibson '50s Les Paul Standard offers a solid mahogany body without weight relief and a maple top, while the one-piece mahogany neck with the not too strong, round "50s" neck profile has the best playing characteristics. Two Gibson Burstbucker pickups with Alnico magnets and moderate output promise an expressive guitar sound with vocal midtimbre and lively dynamics on the guitar amplifier, which can be precisely adjusted using the hand-wired circuit with Orange drop capacitors. Of course, the Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s has authentic Hardware in the form of Deluxe mechanics Vintage , the well-known reliable ABR -1 Tune -O-Matic bridge and a '50s Stopbar tailpiece made of Aluminium .

This is a Gibson of old, made in the old way, sounds like the old way and set up 10 times better than the old way. I have refused point blank to buy a Gibson for many years due to their sub standard and sloppy production but I can honestly say it really has been worth the weight. Very very highly recommended and priced about right now as well. Well done Gibson 👏

First guitar sent by MusicStore had an Humbucker issue
I was so happy when I had the guitar but when I started playing the bridge humbucker didn't work EVEN thought it certified by it's quality from Gibson and MusicStore.
Really shameful from Gibson and MusicStore but the store sent me a new one that has some finishing issues but I kept because I fell in love with it and I didn't want to go through this a 3rd time.
Be aware of buying from MusicStore but bear in mind they will help you if you contact with a faulty product

Very excited to get this guitar - it sounds great however there was an imperfection on the body and even though I emailed DV about this I was ignored :(
WOW ! Absolutely top marks to Gibson for this masterpiece. Flawless finish, set up to absolute perfection and sounds like a dream. I really did not expect such quality which compares very favourably with the custom shop. Gibson mean business with these guitars and man they have succeeded !
