In the construction of the L-4 Mahogany, the Custom Shop Crimson Division naturally follows traditional specifications. The hand-carved solid spruce top, together with the solid mahogany resonator body, promises a sonorous and warm sound, with a gentle midrange focus and lively dynamics that precisely reproduce even the smallest details of playing. With its strong C-profile, the glued mahogany neck is extremely comfortable in the hand, so that even complex lines can be played with ease. The stylish Florentine-style cutaway also allows easy access to the highest positions of the 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
The Gibson Custombucker pickups installed at neck and bridge reproduce the sonorous sound of the hollowbody guitar in detail.

As pickup for the L-4 Mahogany Vintage Sunburst chooses the Gibson Custom Shoptwo Gibson Custombuckers with Alnico-Magnets. Authentic replicas of the legendary PAF humbuckers, the pickups capture the sonorous timbre of the hollow-body guitar and provide the perfect foundation for the traditional sounds of jazz. To adjust the tone, the electric guitar is naturally equipped with the traditional 3-way switchingand separate volume and tone controls for each pickup.
