The Gibson Firebird Studio 2018 Vintage Sunburst is a 6-string electric guitar featuring a mahogany body and neck, a torrefied granadillo fingerboard and a vintage sunburst finish. This new Firebird Studio for 2018 features the original ''reverse-body'' shape and vintage-sounding P90 pickups for a classic style and tone. Built with a lightweight mahogany body that delivers a warm characteristic with high end shine for solos, this Firebird features a slim taper mahogany neck and smooth torrefied granadillo fingerboard for a highly comfortable performance, sparkling highs and a thick low-end response.

A pair of classic P90 pickups deliver a vintage single-coil tone with a fat snarl and plenty of crunch and bite to cut through the mix. These pickups are fitted with classic soapbar covers and wired with independent volume and tone controls along with a toggle switch for a range of tonal versatility. An aluminium Tune-O-Matic bridge and Mini Grover tuning machines offer solid string stability, whilst a Tektoid nut enhances harmonics in the highs and mids.
