With the Gibson ES-335 DR-44WL Combo, the Memphis Division of the traditional American company offers a complete package for mobile and problem-free recording of performances or band rehearsals. In addition to the Gibson ES-335 semi-acoustic electric guitar with the Tascam DR-44WL, the bundle includes a high-quality handheld recorder with stereo microphones and WLAN connection.
The core of the Gibson ES-335 DR-44WL Combo is the eponymous semi-acoustic electric guitar from the Gibson factory in Memphis, Tennessee.
The classic Gibson ES-335 has a maple laminate body with solid center block and F holes.
Classic semi-acoustic construction
The top, back and sides of the Gibson ES-335 Faded Red are made of a three-layer maple laminate in accordance with historical specifications. In combination with the solid center block, the electric guitar delivers a warm primary tone with a woody acoustic note, while at the same time it is insensitive to feedback and can also be used on stage at high volumes without problems. The slim mahogany neck with "Rounded C" profile offers a high playing comfort, so that nothing stands in the way of hours of guitar playing on stage or in the studio.

Classic pickups, modern hardware
With the Burstbucker Humbuckers at the neck and bridge, two of the Gibson ES-335's greatest classics take over the electric tone conversion. The pickups on both the clean and the tugging amplifier deliver a multi-faceted sound that captures the warm acoustic timbre with natural dynamics and covers a wide range of applications from traditional jazz to classical rock riffs. In addition, the half resonance guitar is equipped with a contemporary locking stop bar, a Tune-O-Matic bridge with titanium strings and Grover Rotomatics with a classic "Milk Bottle" case.

Tascam DR-44WL
The Tascam DR-44WL is an innovative handheld recorder with WLAN connection that is the ideal tool for recording the next band rehearsal or the next performance. For example, an app available for iOS and Android allows remote control of the recorder, from recording start and stop, to level adjustment and control, to data transfer. The stereo condenser microphones arranged in XY-direction convince with their excellent recording quality, which does not tend to distortion even at high sound levels and reproduces every detail naturally. In addition, the Tascam DR-44WL offers four recording tracks, an integrated mixer and a reverb effect.
