The Gibson 1958 ES-335 VOS NAT Vintage Old Stock 2016 Natural is a 6-string thinline archtop model that captures the original "dot neck" design with historically-correct details including the "Mickey Mouse ears" body shape and lack of fingerboard binding. Including the tell-tale dot inlays of the early semis, this guitar comes with matched 550K potentiometers that contribute to accurate vintage tone.
The neck is attached with hot hide glue, as are the quarter-sawn spruce Adirondack top braces, which is another homage to the original models. The historic truss rod has no tube, which enhances the resonance and sustain. Memphis Historic Spec humbucker pickups are Gibson's most accurate PAF clones yet, delivering that legendary ES-335 tone. With period-correct frets, this guitar is made with fret wire from precise vintage specification to deliver an accurate '58 playing feel.
