Acoustic guitar, Round Shoulder, all solid, Sitka spruce top, Mahogany body, 628.6 mm scale length, 42.8 mm nut width, including case
With this reissue of the well-known classic J-45, the American brand Gibson expands its range to include the noble Gibson '60s J-45 Original EB with vintage 1960s charm. Due to an all solid construction this guitar produces a very dynamic and powerful sound even at the slightest touch. Thanks to a Sitka spruce top the sound is interspersed with fine high frequencies. A mahogany body compliments the overall sound with warm bass frequencies, which are enhanced by a Scalloped-X-Bracing and a thin nitro lacquer, creating a powerful soundscape. The slim mahogany neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, which is extremely easy to play thanks to a nut width of 42.8 mm, but still offers plenty of room for more complex fingerings. A 60's white pickguard with Hot Stamp logo, nickel tuners with Butterbean heads and the typical Gibson headstock beautifully round off this piece in its authenticity and are the highlights of this perfectly crafted instrument. The Gibson '60s J-45 Original EB comes with a sturdy case and a Gibson Accessory Kit.
