Electro acoustic guitar, LG style, all solid, Sitka spruce top, mahogany body, 628,6 mm scale length, pickup system, including case
With this reproduction of the popular LG-2, the manufacturer Gibson presents a practical electro acoustic guitar in the style of the 1950s featuring the best materials and hardware. An all solid construction consisting of a Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body produces a warm and rich tone that is ideal for blues picking and folk music. Thanks to a rather short mahogany neck the Gibson '50s LG-2 VSB acoustic guitar offers an excellent grip in all 20 frets embedded in the rosewood fretboard and in combination with a generous 43.8 mm nut width and a Historic V-profile it guarantees unmatched playability. The thin nitro lacquer in Vintage Brown Sunburstfinish creates a fine interplay with the woods used, the Tortoise pickguard and the precise nickel tuners and gives the guitar the memorable charm of the 50s in a highly aesthetic way. A L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system amplifies the acoustic sound very naturally and has a volume and tone pot fixed in the sound hole. The Gibson '50s LG-2 VSB comes in a custom-fit Gibson case.
The Gibson '50s LG-2 VSB is a traditional LG-2 acoustic guitar in a noble Vintage Sunburst finish.
