Very good tonal response thanks to wafer-thin open-pore hand varnish
4/4 violin from GEWA
The GEWA Germania 11 Rom 4/4 violin is a fully-fledged concert violin that impresses with first-class workmanship and a truly astonishing sound. Handcrafted in the GEWA workshops in Adorf, the instrument was designed by master violin maker Thomas Böhme and features a spruce top selected according to strict tonal criteria. In combination with intensely flamed maple wood, this forms the body of the instrument and contributes to the resonant sound of the violin. The Germania 11 Rom is completed by an ebony fretboard and tuning pegs as well as a tailpiece with four fine tuners so that even beginners can tune every string precisely.
