The Gamechanger Audio Light Pedal in the official video:
Unique reverb effect pedal with spring reverb and optical sensors.
The Gamechanger Audio LIGHT pedal once again demonstrates the unbridled innovative spirit of the effects forge from Riga. With the unique combination of classic spring reverb and optical sensors for sensing the spring vibration, the effect pedal delivers unprecedented reverb sounds with finely resolved sound textures.
Spring reverb meets IR sensors
At the heart of the Gamechanger LIGHT pedal is a classic reverb tank with three springs that promises that typical, slightly metallic and jangly sound. To pick up even the finest nuances in the spring vibrations, the Light Pedal is also equipped with several infrared sensors arranged in pairs.
Six characterful sounds
Gamechanger Audio's LIGHT pedal generates a total of six characterful sounds from the spring reverb and infrared sensors. Optics, Sweep and Trem work with the IR sensors. While Optics mode uses the CRTL control to select combinations of different sensor pairs, Sweep provides a rhythmic modulation of the signal. Trem also provides a harmonic tremolo effect. The Reverb Tank is used by the Light Pedal in Reflect mode to create a premium lo-fi delay, while Reflect drives the springs to self-oscillation. The Harmonic mode also provides a particularly rich, shimmering reverb effect. naturally, the Gamechanger LIGHT pedal offers the possibility to combine an optical effect with a spring effect.
Gate
Another highlight of the Gamechanger Audio Light Pedal is the versatile gate. The 12 o'clock position of the gate knob marks the off position. If the gate knob is turned to the left, the gate cuts off the effect as the signal gets quieter. Turning it in the opposite direction activates the ducking mode, which adds reverb volume when the signal is light and reduces it when the signal is heavy.
Tails and Latch Switch
The Gamechanger Light Pedal's Tails switch determines whether the reverb tail can fade out after the effect is turned off or is capped directly. The Latch switch also affects the function of the footswitch. In the On position, the footswitch works as usual, while in the Off position, the reverb effect only sounds as long as the footswitch is pressed.
