The carefully modernized retro design of the G&L JB-2 promises high playability and a lively sound. The poplar body with a slightly offset waist convinces with perfect balance on the strap and on the thigh. The bolt-on maple neck conveys extremely agile playing characteristics with its slim "Modern C" profile and 38 mm nut width, so that every Bassline can be implemented with ease on the 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Flexible sound
At the bass amp, the Tribute JB-2 from G&L presents itself as an absolute all-rounder that has the right sound ready for almost every genre. Responsible for this are two G&L Alnico single coils in bridge and middle position, whose signals can be freely mixed via separate volume controls, so that a wide sound spectrum is available, from abysmal low-end punch to wiry presence tone. In addition, the Bass guitar is equipped with a classic treble trim.
