Doheny electric guitar from the G&L Tribute Series with Wide-Bobbin MFD Single Coils
Named after southern California's Doheny Beach, the G&L Tribute Doheny MN presents itself as a true surf rock tool. The elegant offset body design is made of lime wood and screwed to the 21-flush maple neck according to a traditional recipe. Two Wide-Bobbin MFD single coils are used for the sound transformation, whose projecting coil bodies with correspondingly wide windings generate distinctive single coil character with additional mids and sustain. Thanks to passive PTB electronics, the tone controls act as 2-band equalizers to reduce bass and treble, while the Dual-Fulcrum tremolo allows classic vibrato sounds.
