To the point: The Furch Violet Series convinces with its high-quality features
The Furch Violet D-SM at a Glance
Thanks to its already fully solid construction, the Violet D-SMdreadnought western guitar from the Violet series produces a powerful yet warm sound. This is particularly effective with strumming, making the instrument ideal for vocal accompaniment. The Sitka spruce top provides the necessary midrange and treble frequencies, while the mahogany back and sides produce rich basses. The guitar owes its exceptionally comfortable playability to the combination of a mahogany neck with a flat soft 'V' profile and a nut width of 44.45 mm. Thus, all 20 frets of the high-quality ebony fingerboard can be easily reached and operated. Furthermore, the compensated saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ guarantees a clean intonation on the entire 648 mm scale. The headstock is equipped with chrome-plated die-cast tuners that allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. Black bindings, a simple soundhole rosette and the black pickguard complete the appearance in a very harmonious way. The instrument is completed by the gauzy open pore finish that tastefully highlights the grain of the tonewoods used.
Externally kept very traditional with a core of sophisticated guitar construction
