Furch Vintage 1 OM-SM at a glance
The Furch Vintage series inspires with its traditional designs in addition to its selected tonewoods. For example, the Furch Vintage 1 OM-SM comes with a solid AA Sitka spruce top that provides a mid-range rich and balanced sound. At the same time, the instrument's character is enriched with a pleasant warmth and richness thanks to solid AA mahogany back and sides. The mahogany neck promises a comfortable grip in all 20 frets with the help of the soft-V profile. These are set into a high-quality ebony fingerboard marked with subtle dot inlays. Meanwhile, clean intonation is ensured by the 44.45 mm wide nut and compensated saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ. The simple headstock is equipped with beautiful Gotoh Vintage tuners, which guarantee a clean tuning of the 6 steel strings and tastefully round off the outer appearance with its nickel hardware. Furthermore, the body is surrounded with filigree multi-ply bindings that harmonize excellently with the double-ring soundhole rosette with black walnut inlay. To perfectly showcase the fine grain of the tonewoods, the entire construction is sealed with a gauzy matte lacquer. To ensure that the Orchestra Western guitar can be transported safely from A to B, a sturdy case from Hiscox is included.
