The Fulltone Custom Shop PlimSoul MKII is the revised version of a true classic among overdrive and distortion pedals. Unlike many other stompboxes that offer either hard or soft clipping, the PlimSoul MKII combines both sounds in two completely independent and separately controllable circuits. The MkII version of the PlimSoul now uses real germanium diodes instead of LEDs in the hard clipping Circuit, while the connections have been moved to the front of the pedal for better integration into pedalboard setups. In addition, the input impedance has been raised, making the MKII version far more interactive with the guitar's volume pot. Furthermore, the PlimSoul MKII offers extended sound shaping options in the form of a loss-less Bass switch, which is connected before the hard clipping stage and influences the low frequency component.
