6-slot frame for 500 modules according to API standard
Color display
The current power consumption as well as the output voltages are displayed
The audio routing from card to card can be programmed via display
Current, which is not needed on the negative side, is additionally available on the positive side
The current temperature in the case is displayed
Powerful power supply with a total of 3A output current
Lowest noise due to multi-layer technology
19" rack ears optional
Can also handle larger "power hogs" without any problems
The Fredenstein Bento 6DS is the optimal frame for both the in-house 6XX, Artistic and Magic series, as well as API-500 compatible plug-in cards. With the highly efficient and reliable power supply, which can also handle larger "power hogs" without problems, up to 6 modules can be operated. Problems with other racks regarding the power supply are thus prevented. In addition, power that is not needed on the negative side is additionally made available on the positive side. Like its predecessor, the Bento-6DS has a color LCD display, which is used to monitor the voltages, current and temperature. In addition, further information is provided for Fredenstein's F600A, F601A, F602, F603A/B and F607, if these are in use.
Robust hardware with built-in audio routing
Another special feature is the inputs and outputs including the "built-in" audio routing. Modules can be daisy-chained via the menu on the LCD display, while a bus link function is available for compressors. Different types of compressors can thus be linked, even if they have different link standards. Also worth mentioning is the backplane with its multi-layer technology, which provides enhanced signal integrity and a low noise floor. Gold-plated contacts as well as a solid and precise workmanship of the housing complete the overall picture. Last but not least, the Gound-Lift switch should be mentioned here, which interrupts ground loops in emergencies.
