The 30-inch (762 mm) short-scale scale in unison with the Mustang BassSplit coil pickup provides a crisp sound with authentic vintage character. Furthermore, the Mustang bass driver of the Vintera II series is equipped with a classic Fender Vintage hardware equipment and painted in the catchy "Competition Burgundy" finish which is of course completed by the Competition stripe.
The Fender Vintera II '70s Mustang Bass features a traditional composition of maple neck, alder body and rosewood fingerboard.
The "Competition Burgundy" high-gloss finish features Color-over-Color shimmer and a Competition stripe.
Handy construction with comfortable conditions
Following accurate specifications, the Fender VIntera II 70s Mustang Bass is assembled from a Mustang alder body and a maple neck in a shortened short-scale scale via a four-way bolt-on assembly. A thin 41.3 mm nut width and '70s C-neck profile make for comfortable playing conditions, while the 20-fret rosewood fretboard with a 7.25-inch radius promises a true-to-the-original feel. The "Competition Burgundy" finish rounds out the look with the catchy blue over burgundy red shimmer with light blue stripe and pearloid pickguard.
The classic Fender Lollipop tuners ensure reliable tuning stability of the four strings on the 70s Mustang electric bass.
