The FENDER Vintera '50s Telecaster Modified MN Surf Green combines the authentic vintage style with a number of modern detail solutions in terms of sound variety and playability.

Woods and construction

Accordingly, Fender relies on a Alder body in the classic design and a bolt-on maple neck, which features the powerful "Thick Soft V" profile and 9.5" fingerboard radius for optimal playing conditions.

Pickup and Hardware

Sound-wise, the Fender Vintera ''50s Telecaster Modified with two Custom Shop pickups, 4-way switching and S-1 swtich proves to be extremely versatile. While the vintage-style pickup single-coilplaced at the bridge evokes the legendary, crisp twang with enormous assertiveness, the "twisted" Tele single-coil at the neck delivers an enormously fat sound. In addition to the usual pickup combinations, the 4-way blade switch also provides powerful series switching of the pickups, while slimmed-down out-of-phase tones can be accessed via the S-1 switch in the Volume knob. Last but not least, the FENDER Vintera '50s Telecaster Modified MN Surf Green features tuning-stable vintage-style tuners and a 3-saddle American Vintage bridge strings-thru-body.
