A 12-string Western guitar with player-friendly features and a great sound: the Fender Villager 12-String Aged Natural.
The medium-sized Newporter body promises easy handling.
Structure and woods
Thanks to the solid spruce top, the sound gets strong midrange as well as clear treble frequencies, so the Fender Villager comes through powerfully, especially when strumming. Back and sides made of laminated Sapele additionally enrich the sound with a pleasant warmth in the bass range. Also, the playability leaves nothing to be desired. The flat nato neck is equipped with a walnut fingerboard that guarantees effortless gliding of the picking hand over all frets. The Modern Viking bridge is also made of the finest walnut.
The walnut fingerboard is marked with filigree white dot inlays.
Hardware and design
The striking field hockey stick headstock features smooth nickel tuners for precise tuning, while the nickel tailpiece guides the strings straight to the 45 mm wide nut made of Graph Tech Nubone, so that the acoustic guitar intonates perfectly over the entire scale length of 628 mm. Visually, the Villager is enriched by a delicate single-ply binding that tastefully contrasts the natural finish. Another highlight is the tortoise pickguard, which gives the instrument its very own character.
Perfectly equipped for any occasion thanks to Fishman electronics.

Never had a 12 string before so thought it time to get one and I'm really pleasantly surprised just how good this one is. The neck is a little narrow so great for my small hands but maybe not so good if want to play finger picking style. It came set up and almost ready to go, I just had to give it a re-tune (which is a breaze with the on-board tuner) and I was playing Wish You Were Here in about 5 minutes, just got to love that jangly 12 string sound. The body is a little narrower than a full bodied guitar (somewhere between my Yamaha APX and my Fender F1020) which for me is a good thing. It also came in a very nice Fender gig bag so arrived in perfect condition. All in all very happy with my purchase!
