The Fender Standard Stratocaster has always been the electric guitar of choice for countless bands and musicians and convinces with coveted Fender sounds and authentic original shapings. Three Fender Standard Single Coils form the classic pickup setup of the Stratocaster, while the satin-matt maple neck has a proven slim Modern 'C' profile. Last but not least, the synchronized vintage style tremolo provides a powerful response and additional sustain with its Hi-Mass block.
Fender's Standard Strat is composed of an alder body with shielded electric compartment and a maple neck with Pau Ferro fretboard. This forms a flat C-profile in cross section, which allows comfortable lead and chord play and quick position changes thanks to a smooth matt-finish without much resistance at the thumb.
Three standard single coils mounted on the pickguard of the Fender Standard Strat provide the distinctive Fender sound with high recognition value and are available with their moderate output for all kinds of fun from delicate cleans to wide open lead sounds. The three single coils are controlled by the classic electronic layout consisting of volume and two tone controls as well as a 5-way blade switch, which activates'buttonfler' sounds in positions 2 and 4.
As an authentic original, Fender's standard Stratocaster features a synchronized vintage style tremolo, which is supported by 6 screws and locked by springs on the back of the body. Thanks to Hi Mass Block, the tremolo has additional vibratory mass and gives standing tones the necessary amount of sustain until feedback. On the headstock with 70s Style Fender logo, however, cast standard tuning mechanisms ensure uncomplicated string changes, outstanding tunability and, of course, tuning stability.
