Fender Roasted Maple Vintera Mod 50's Telecaster Neck

The first one I got went back, wouldn't fit a Fender Telecaster neck pocket properly (leaving a gap).

The other one fitted, although overly tight, but had a heel corner sanded of a bit too much. That's a pure visual defect, but never the less, it shows a lack of quality control. I guess they have a great hurry to get them out to customers...

Feel and functionality was good, after some minor fretwork.

I like the fat soft V profile and 9,5 radius very much.

This neck has been fitted to an 'Esquire' project build and has completed the recipe ingredients which make the 'Esquire' such a special instrument. The single pickup configuration (with 'Eldred' wiring) produces a truly sparkling range of sounds and this is complemented by the nature of the torrefied maple that the neck is made from.
