Pre-wired pickguard featuring three Fender Fat '50s Single Coils
The Fender Pre-Wired Pickguard Strat SSS Fat '50s delivers the classic sound of the fifties. Three Fat '50s single coils from the Fender Custom Shop produce the sound of the early Strats with additional bass using stepped and hand-ground Alnico V magnets and moderate Formvar winding. For hum-free performances in the intermediate positions 2 and 4, the middle pickup is additionally reverse-polarised and wound. This pre-wired pickguard can easily be replaced with standard 11-hole Strat pickguards.

In 15 minutes in transferred my Stat pro with the standard V-mod pickups Into a fat sounding guitar! The sound is so much richer then before. Very surprised!
I got these for ease of installation and to keep everything fender ( i use a lot of boutique bits!) and i was very very pleasantly surprised by the lovely soulful sound of these pickups. nice! good service from dv247 too
So easy to put together, although a very basic soldering is required. This transformed my Mexican Strat into a beast of a guitar, the nicest sounding Single Coils I've ever owned!
Replaced the stock pickups in an American Professional II Strat. These were a big improvement. Nice and chimney, low ish output but they sound great with gain too. Service from dv247 was quick and efficient as well.
