The "Modern C" neck profile with a slim 38 mm nut width also promises agile playing characteristics between the 22 frets of the maple fingerboard.

The electrical tone conversion of the Fender Jaguar bass guitar is handled by two Fender Player Series pickups in the popular PJ configuration. The Alnico V magnet-equippedsingle-coil and split-coil pickups deliver the full range of coveted FenderBass tones, from powerful low-mid growl to wiry, transparent tone with high punch. Traditional passive electronics with separate volume controls and a general treble cutoff control the pickup of the Player Jaguar electric bass.
