Fender Precision Bass at a glance
The Fender Player II Precision Bass RW 3-Color-Sunburst represents probably the oldest bass classic in the Player II series and offers absolutely everything that has made the legendary Preci one of the most popular bass guitars for over seventy years: ergonomically designed body contours, wonderfully growling split-coil sounds and, of course, the incomparable playing feel of the P-Bass. The Player II Series Precision Bass remains true to all these principles and furthermore comes in refreshing new color variations that make the 4-string Bass an absolute visual highlight on stage, in the rehearsal room or in the living room.
Alder body and modern 'C' maple neck
The body of the Fender Player II Precision Bass RW 3-Color-Sunburst follows the proven design and proves to be surprisingly comfortable to play thanks to the contoured armrest and ergonomic'tummy cut' on the back. The classic mapleneck with its slim Modern C neck profile and 20 frets in medium jumbo format provides a tried-and-tested P-bass feel for the fretting hand. The playing feel of the Fender Player II Precision Bass is further optimized by a modern 9.5" fingerboard radius and rounded fingerboard edges.
Fender Player Series Alnico V Split-Coil
It goes without saying that the Fender Player II Precision Bass RW 3-Color-Sunburst, as a classically designed 'Preci', relies on a single split-coil pickup, which gives the 4-string an astonishingly broad and versatile sound. The Fender Player Series Alnico V split-coil installed in the middle position offers defined highs, present mids and basses and naturally produces the typical 'growl' that many bassists particularly appreciate. The wiring also remains classic and consists of a volume control and a treble control.
