Player Series Alnico 5 Single Coils
The Player II Jazz Bass MN BLK Black is equipped with two Player Series Alnico 5 Jazz single coils in the middle and bridge position, which enables a clear tone and a dynamic bass attack. While the bridge pickup is characterized by a rich, voluminous sound with plenty of low-end and a dense sound character, the middle pickup proves to be a dynamic one-coiler, with which an even balance of bass, mids and highs is reflected in the frequency image. The sound of the Player II Jazz Bass can be used in all genres thanks to its versatility and is tried and tested with clear sounds when it comes to fast bass lines.
Classic hardware
The Player II Jazz Bass has a 4-saddle standard bridge, which ensures a stable string hold. Standard open-gear tuners are available for precise tuning, which keep the Bass in tune. There is also the classic Fenderneck plate with the "F" logo on the back of the instrument, which connects the four-bolt neck to the coprus and is considered a pretty detail. The Player II Jazz Bass is also equipped with two separate volume controls for both pickups and a master tone control.
