The Player II Jaguar RW AQB Aquatone Blue electric guitar at a glance:
With the Player II Jaguar RW AQB Aquatone Blue electric guitar, Fender is sending a new offset model from the Player Series II into the race, which is equipped with authentic vintage features and revives the surf rock spirit of the 1960s. The legendary Jaguar sound is made possible by the two Player Series Alico single coils in the neck and bridge positions, which perfectly showcase a distinctive tone with crisp mids and precise highs. The alder body has a four-bolt maple neck, which is fitted with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The modern "C" neck profile and the 9.5" fingerboard radius also ensure optimum playability and a comfortable feel when precise riffs or fast lead solos are to be tackled cleanly. Another highlight is the floating tremolo, which allows vibrato nuances to be cleanly integrated into the guitar playing. The authentic 24" scale of the classic Jaguar models was naturally adopted for the new Player II Jaguar, making the instrument a true vintage treasure that catapults the sound of the 60s into the 21st century.
The Fender Player II Jaguar RW AQB Aquatone Blue convinces both as an authentic vintage classic and through more exotic applications in genres such as shoegaze or grunge.
Two Player Series Alnico pickups provide the legendary Jaguar sound.
Player Series Alnico Single Coils
The Player II Jaguar RW AQB Aquatone Blue is characterized by its unique sound, which is produced by two single coils: The guitar carries a Player Series Alnico 2 single coil in the neck position, while a Player Series Alnico 5 single coil is mounted in the bridge position. Both single coils can be controlled either individually or simultaneously via a 3-way switch. The crisp sound is bursting with accents in the mid-range, while the treble is defined by an assertive character. The Player II Jaguar not only conveys the authentic 60s vintage sound of the iconic Offset model, but also invites guitarists who like to experiment to tackle exotic genres such as shoegaze or grunge with the unique Jaguar timbre.
The Fender ClassicGear tuning machines ensure reliable tuning stability.
Authentic vintage hardware
The Player II Jaguar comes with high-quality chrome/nickel hardware, consisting of Fender ClassicGear tuning machines and a floating tremolo. The bridge consists of a Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles and is complemented by the vintage-style floating tremolo. The pop-in " VintageStyle Jaguar" tremolo arm ensures comfortable operation and relies on precise handling to create soft accents or strong vibrato swings. Further hardware highlights are the aged white pickup covers and the classic neck plate with the "F" logo.
