Fender Newporter Classic Limited Edition

Thanks to its solid construction, the Fender Newporter Classic Limited Edition produces a full and powerful sound that spreads quickly and over a wide area. The mid-sized Newporter body simultaneously provides defined mid and treble frequencies, making the acoustic guitar suitable for both expressive strumming and fine Pickings. A flat neck also guarantees an extremely easy grip in all 20 frets, which thanks to high-quality hardware intonate cleanly. To make the instrument suitable for stage use, the manufacturer has installed a Fishman pickup system, which includes an integrated tuner with LED display. A sturdy gig bag is included in delivery.

Construction and woods

The fully solid construction consists of a spruce top, which rests on a mahogany body. This way every tone unfolds in a defined way and is enriched with a warm note. Since the mahogany neck is equipped with a slim-taper 'C' profile, it is very comfortable to play. Thanks to a generous cutaway, the Pau Ferro fingerboard can be accessed optimally in all positions, so that even extensive tone sequences and solos become child's play.

Hardware and Design

The saddle and the 43 mm wide nut are made of Graph Tech TUSQ and provide a perfect intonation on the whole scale length of 650 mm, while the sealed nickel tuners allow a precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. The characteristic electric guitar headstock gives the instrument a unique design, which is accentuated by filigree inlays and bindings made of koa. The overall appearance of the acoustic guitar is completed by a noble high-gloss varnish with aged-natural finish.
