The Mustang Series was created by Fender with convertible state-of-the-art modelling technology with the intention of creating versatile applications for the studio, stage and practice rooms. This 100 Watt specimen of the Mustang features 18 Amp simultaneous and a large 12” G12T speaker from Celestion.
Authentic sounds from clear Fender Cleans to raspy Crunch and juicy Leads all the way to High Gain settings are all possible with the Mustang and can be precisely adjusted with the 3-band sound controls. In addition, classic effects in form of Reverb, Delays, Modulations and Filter effects are naturally also included.
The Aux In and headphone output makes it possible to jam-a-long to your favourite tracks and allow you to practice in near silence which should help to maintain relationships with neighbours and roommates.
Fender Mustang III V.2This is a really good one! It sounds really awesome. Functional, versatile, well-build and LOUD)) Its very good for home practice, because of good sound on low levels of volume, good for recording, rehearsals with the band and even gigging. I purchased this one from musicstore.de, which work I reaaally satisfied with. This combo includes 2 button footswitch, but i was so much surprised when with 2 button i found 4 button footswitch in the package from musicstore!!! Thank you guys, this is just awesome! All my future shoppings for music equipment Im gonna do ONLY in musicstore!
I needed a new amp after using a Marshall for 15 years. I was also about buy a new pedalboard. While looking at my options I came accross this amp. Additionally I bought the EXP-1 pedal and 4-button footswitch for full functionality.
I really like the sound and what you can do with it. It is very easy to use. Modifying the sounds, or creating your own etc. I am not an expert in all these cabins and old Fender amps that this amps simulates. But they really sound good. You have something that fits all kinds of music and all of them are really flexible.
The fact that "tailor-made" presets can be downloaded online is also a very cool feature.
The only thing I do not like is, for example, when you want to move preset 31, to preset 2 (to arrange your favorite presets one after the other), these two are not replaced. Instead, preset 2 is overwritten and you end up having two of the same tones (one in preset 31 and now in preset 2). That could have been designed with a replacement function. Would be better for me that way.
It is really loud. Did not have the chance to try it in a concert yet, but on the stage I think it will also be very functional.
Going back to where I started, the footswitches plus the pedal do not replace a pedalboard but it is pretty close.
One of the comments here said that a 4-button footswitch was provided by default. That was not the case for me. I sent two emails to the email address on the product page but did not get a reply at all. That was a minus point on musicstore... Other than that packaging was fine and delivery was fast as usual.
I can certainly recommned this product.
Very loud amp, but can be used for home practice. You can do many things with it, tons of effects to choose from. If you connect it to your PC and download the Fender Fuse app then it's so easy to create a preset, or you can even download presets made by other mustang users.
