Tenor ukulele with koa body and pickup system, including gig bag
With the Montecito Tenor ukuleleShaded Edge Burst, Fender expands its rich assortment of the California Coast series with a chic instrument that is made of the best materials and impresses with interesting features. To create authentic sounds of the ukulele, Fender relies on genuine koa wood for the top and the body. Native to Hawaii, this species of acacia is considered a traditional tonewood for ukulele making and impresses with a warm and full sound. A flat nato neck with walnut fingerboard provides pleasant playability and allows in combination with a nut width of 35 mm and a scale length of 432 mm perfect access to all 19 frets. The Montecito Tenor ukulele is rounded off with elaborate abalone bindings and an abalone soundhole rosette, whose blue-green reflections accentuate the fine koa wood in a visually appealing way. Last but not least, the Fender Montecito Tenor Ukulele Shaded Edge Burst comes with a matching Fender gig bag.

Tenor-size ukulele from the California Coast series.
The products were well packed and arrived on time. The instrument is a lovely looking uke. Having just received it I am still tweaking the tuning every day so it is taking time for the instrument to be steady tuning wise. As a beginner I was disappointed that there was no mention of tuning the uke, the instrument was way of tune and I admit I was scared to keep on turning the tuning keys but I persisted and eventually the instrument did tune in and as I have mentioned I still have to significantly tune the uke in before my practise session (I play for an hour 5 /6 times a week).
