Originally born in the Fender Custom Shop, Fender Japan presents with the Fender Made in Japan Mahogany Offset Telecaster the exotic and popular body design in a mahogany built version. Accordingly, both the Jazzmaster body and the Telecaster neck are made of mahogany and impressively present the wood selection with a transparent natural finish. This special Tele is especially aimed at fans of the strong U-neck profile and offers 21 frets in medium format. The pickup assembly of the Made in Japan Mahogany Offset Telecaster, on the other hand, offers flexible sounds with a classic vintage-style Tele Single Coil on the bridge for the coveted Tele-Twang, while the P-90 Single Coil in the Soapbar housing with its wide winding delivers powerful and fat sounds. Both pickups are switched via classic Telecaster electronics with master volume and master tone as well as a 3-way blade switch.
