When building the MIJ Traditional Original '50s Precision BassFender naturally relies on the original design from the beginning of the Fifties. The lime body comes in slab body style, while thebolt-on neck is made of maple. The pleasantly strong U-profile with 41.9 mm nut width also promises comfortable playing characteristics on the 20-fret fingerboard.
Traditional in sound and hardware
Featuring the original single-coil pickup, the Traditional '50s Precision Bass delivers authentic vintage tones with accentuated mids and natural compression that provide the perfect foundation for classic blues, jazz or rock 'n' roll grooves. The Bass sound is controlled in the classic way using the volume knob and treble slider. Last but not least, the MIJ Traditional Original '50s Precision Bass comes with authentic Vintage-StyleHardware . On the body, the classic P-Bass 2-saddle bridge promises clean intonation and string action adjustment, with strings threaded through the body to support the four-string's tonal character. The classic Telecaster-style headstock also features open-gear tuners for precise tuning of the P-Bass.
